Handling the responsibilities of financial statements, compliance engagements and year round consulting for nonprofits takes more than just a technical understanding of current accounting practices. As a manager in our Audit and Assurance practice, you will be able to participate in providing individual attention to help make nonprofits successful.
What You Will Be Doing
- Working with a dedicated team of mission oriented professionals
- Providing a high level of service to nonprofit organizations primarily in the Portland Metropolitan area
- Working directly with clients
- Helping to manage and direct engagements, staff, and Assurance initiatives
The successful candidate will have experience, ability and interest in
- Helping conduct and manage teams for financial audits and reviews of nonprofit organizations as well as audits in accordance with Uniform Grant Guidance
- Working with a variety of nonprofit organizations
- Working with department and firm leadership to stay abreast of industry changes and continual department improvement
Preferred qualifications
- CPA certification
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Well-organized and with the ability to work efficiently and prioritize appropriately
- The ability to collaboratively work with others as part of a high-performing team
- Minimum of six years of work experience in CPA firm
- The ability to work in a fast paced professional services environment
