Senior Assurance Manager

Kristen is Senior Assurance Manager and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 15 years public practice experience specializing in non-profit organizations. Kristen joined the MJ team in 2024 and has experience leading audits and single audits, performing financial reviews and consulting with organizations to improve financial management, reporting capability and governance. Most recently she was a Senior Audit Trainer with Thomson Reuters AuditWatch team and provided audit training to CPA staff across the country. Kristen has worked as a contract CFO for several nonprofit organizations and has experience improving the financial reporting and oversight of these organizations to allow for the Board to make better financial decisions.

Current and Past Community Involvement: Kristen is the Treasurer for a nonprofit organization in her community and volunteers with several organization.

Kristen loves to travel and be outdoors.  Hiking, kayaking, visiting new places and gardening are the things that fill her time outside of work.
