Jeanel Acob
Senior Staff Accountant
Jeanel Acob joined McDonald Jacobs as a Staff Accountant in 2019. Originally from Kaua’i, Hawai’i, Jeanel moved here to attend Portland State University, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance. She liked her time in Portland so much that she has decided to make it her home.
Jeanel was drawn to accounting because she has always liked math and numbers, even from a young age. At McDonald Jacobs, she looks forward to working with our clients on the underlying systems and operations that support those numbers. She was attracted to McDonald Jacobs because of the culture here, specifically how everyone – staff and clients both – are so warm and welcoming.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Portland State
Jeanel comes from a musical family. In her spare time she enjoys singing in her church choir, and playing the piano, and hiking (so long as it’s not raining too much).
