Brian Rapp

Brian Rapp has worked in public accounting since 2005, and joined McDonald Jacobs in 2016. In his role as Tax Department Principal, he enjoys sharing his technical expertise and passion to help his clients. Brian likes to dig into the overall financial picture and does more than just prepare a tax return. His primary area of business is closely held businesses, and he is well versed with the needs of clients in the health care, technology, creative agencies, professional services, as well as start-ups. He is interested in helping clients in more than just taxes, including forecasting, succession planning, and taking a comprehensive view the financial picture. He also works with individuals, partnerships, and corporations on their tax needs, and assists health care clients with compensation modeling, revenue cycle acceleration, operational effectiveness, and profitability.

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Minnesota State University Moorhead and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Oregon Society of CPAs (OSCPA).

Outside of work Brian enjoys fostering dogs, and rooting for Miami Hurricanes football and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
