Sengu Thomas, Business Advisory Services Manager, has played a vital role in McDonald Jacobs’ growth since 1997. Sengu has stayed with McDonald Jacobs because of the culture, people, and the work we do. Her favorite aspect is how we build strong relationships with our clients and provide a high level of service. Sengu feels most successful when she is problem solving, especially when it relates to streamlining processes, finding efficiency, and improving the bottom line.
When working with Sengu, you will get collaboration. She strives to understand our clients’ goals and objectives, and meet them.

Professional

Education: Sengu has a BA in Accounting from Portland State University, and is currently pursuing her CPA

Current and Past Community Involvement: Sengu is involved with EduCongo, a non-profit which empowers children in the Democratic Republic of Congo and provides them with affordable K-12 education. She is also a founding member of La Découverte, a school in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which has over 2,000 students. She is the mission coordinator at her church, and coordinates ways to support sister churches across the world through education and supplies.
